VERGE Presents Open Mic Night

This Tuesday, every Tuesday, VERGE presents Open Mic Night @ Retro Lounge in Freeport, NY.

That is all.

Introduction by Jersey Campbell

The Upstanding Members of V.E.R.G.E.

Ideas, thoughts, bursting from the mind

In due time

Young, immature thoughts actualized, released from the cage inside

And it’s the grind

We are on the verge

Forever on the verge

These are not just words

But ideas manifested and brought forth into this world

V.E.R.G.E. presents Open Mic Night @ Retro Lounge. Freeport, NY. Today, Tuesday, June 19th. 8 PM.

It's going down tonight at Retro Lounge, Freeport, NY!

V.E.R.G.E.

We, my friends, my brothers and sisters, my comrades, my family, are on the verge. We will forever be on the verge. No matter how far or successful we become, we will always be on the verge of something bigger, better, more successful, more productive. We will go far, we will do great things and then we will go on to do even greater things.

Bruce Lee said that if you are imposing limits on yourself, you might as well die.  “There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. Man must constantly exceed his level.” No matter where we are, we will become better. The mind is a powerful thing, people are powerful beings, we will exploit these resources to their full potential.

V.E.R.G.E. is an acronym for Vicariously Enter the Realm of Good Entertainment. We will be presenting events across Long Island, NY. We begin with Open Mic Night presented by V.E.R.G.E. We will not stop there.
