V.E.R.G.E. 

We, my friends, my brothers and sisters, my comrades, my family, are on the verge. We will forever be on the verge. No matter how far or successful we become, we will always be on the verge of something bigger, better, more successful, more productive. We will go far, we will do great things and then we will go on to do even greater things.

Bruce Lee said that if you are imposing limits on yourself, you might as well die.  “There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. Man must constantly exceed his level.” No matter where we are, we will become better. The mind is a powerful thing, people are powerful beings, we will exploit these resources to their full potential.

V.E.R.G.E. is an acronym for Vicariously Enter the Realm of Good Entertainment. We will be presenting events across Long Island, NY. We begin with Open Mic Night presented by V.E.R.G.E. We will not stop there.

"Sometimes its hard to read her. I'm not sure if I should comfort, hold, or kiss her. I've thought about why I have trouble reading her. For one, she's a lot different than women I usually talk to.  And second, I actually have feelings for her. For me that is kinda shocking because I didn't want to develop feelings. It just happened so...so...well. Although I can nit pick at a few of her flaws; I overall can say she is very well rounded, but that scares me. Yeah life is about taking chances, but I'm protective over my feelings. And hurt is a feeling I'd not like to experience much. But still the journey could be rewarding...Ahhh...who knows maybe I should give her...I mean it...wait( big deep breath)...maybe I should give this a chance..."

Our Weekend Together by NYC Robert

My weekend with you was more than special. Truthfully, I don’t think there is a word that can sum up how I felt.  It was a weekend of gentle, passionate, romantic, and kind innocence. To me, what we shared was what couples have been trying to find for years. Although it is the beginning for us I feel like every conversation with you feels like the beginning, and sometimes we talk about the same thing. 

I’m learning more and more about you so quickly, but in a good way. To explain, I know what you like, and what you don’t, but those are just parts that come so natural for me because I feel like I can read your mind sometimes. Almost like I know your next thought and what you are thinking. Like if you’re sad I can feel it, if you’re happy I know it, if you want me near you I sense it, and if you’re just being you, I dig it.   

Neither of us wanted the weekend to end. Now I’m miles away, but also a call away. Though the pavement separates us it will bring out the best in us.

Texting has changed the spectrum of communication completely. It's a quick and easy way to tell someone something, and has it's own language. From acronym's to facial expressions, many different things can be said in a text.

What attracts you? by NYC Robert

Have you ever thought about what attracts you the most to someone you view as your potential significant other?

What attracts me: I'm attracted to women who play hard to get but, at the same time, let's me know she's interested. To me that's a turn on. Not just because it's a challenge, which I like, but also because I know she's not an open book. The mere fact that I cannot read her troubles me(I can read just about everyone women in seconds). I then become curious to find out more, and although she may be stunningly attractive it doesn't matter. Just the fact that she's curious makes me want to be Inspector Gadget with her.
